North Sound Bicycle Advocates is the new name of the organization that began in 1994 as Edmonds Bicycle Advocacy Group (EBAG). NSBA seeks to promote bicycling and encourage government agencies at all levels to create policies and build streets to make cycling safer and more inviting to a larger share of the population. The new name reflects the group’s intentions of representing bike riders across South Snohomish and North King counties, including Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, Woodway, and Shoreline and surrounding communities. NSBA meets 9-10 times a year and works closely with officials and elected representatives at the city and state level. If you have a passion for ensuring that there is a connected network of bike routes linking adjacent communities, come lend your voice at an NSBA meeting. Our companion website, Northsoundbikes.org is under construction and will go live this summer (2024).
